1. Images are not sent

Images are read only inside the user's browser. Because we never receive the image itself, we cannot store or view it.

2. What the server receives

During a check, the server receives the file hash and the records read from the file (software names, whether a C2PA signature is present, camera make and model, the year of capture, image dimensions, and similar).

Author names, location data, detailed capture timestamps, and prompt text are neither read nor recorded.

3. Information from access

To manage congestion and prevent abuse, IP addresses are used temporarily. An IP address is not stored as is; it is used only, as a salted hash, to identify your place in the queue.

In addition, Cloudflare, which delivers this site, processes connection records in accordance with its own terms.

4. Bot protection

Cloudflare Turnstile is used to prevent automated mass use. For this check, communication takes place between the user's browser and Cloudflare.

5. Visibility of proofs

An issued proof can be viewed on its proof page by anyone who knows the proof number. File names are not recorded.

A proof contains the file hash, the score, the verdict, the time of issuance, and a signature.

6. Inquiries

What you enter in the contact form is used only to reply to your inquiry and is not stored on this site (the form is not yet available).

7. Advertising

This site currently carries no advertising. If advertising is introduced, the ad provider and the handling of cookies will be described on this page.

8. Sharing with third parties

Except as required by law, we do not provide the information we obtain to third parties.
